| Mark Twohig has over 15 years experience in educational, entertainment, and online media production and development. Mark began his career in 1993 working as a producer and editor for educational publisher D.C. Heath and Company. While there, Mark contributed to some groundbreaking video development for interactive CD-ROMs. Two of his products, Discovering French Interactive and ¡DIME! Interactive, were honored with New Media's Invision Award of Excellence and the Macromedia People's Choice Award. In 1996 Mark became a producer and senior editor for Forever Baseball, a weekly half-hour show nationally broadcast in over 20 million homes. In the spring of 1998, Mark joined the Special Projects Division of MediaOne New England (now Comcast), and as a producer was responsible for the development and implementation of several major television and Internet initiatives, including the international broadcast of the special convocation in honor of His Excellency Nelson Mandela, President of the Republic of South Africa. In 2000 Mark joined the Los Angeles-based Donroy Media Corporation as a producer and editor, eventually becoming the company's Vice President. While with Donroy Media, Mark oversaw day-to-day operations of the company and was responsible for marketing and press campaigns aimed at bolstering the Donroy Media brand. Some Donroy Media clients included, Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar Animation Studios, Universal Studios, Starz, and ABC. Since leaving Donroy Media, Mark has pursued a variety of producing, editing, and web development projects through work with networks and corporations such as The Learning Channel, The Travel Channel, The Spanish Béisbol Network, and Heinemann Publishing. |
